On Wednesday, Nathan and I met Kristin and Colton at the park. Nathan had never been to a playground and was absolutely fascinated with all the big colorful things to look at. He laid on a blanket for a long time and just looked up at the blue sky and all the playground stuff. Once he figured out he could interact with this "stuff", a whole new world opened up to him! Here are some pictures from our day with Kristin and Colton...
When we first arrived, we laid the boys on a blanket under a shady tree. It was such a beautiful day on Wednesday - low 70's and an awesome breeze blowing.

Life is always better when you hold your toes!

Kisses from mommy
Thank you Kristin and Colton for the sunglasses!
After a while, I got antsy (surprise, surprise) and thought Nathan might enjoy sitting in a swing for the very first time. So, over to the swings we went - and I think Nathan really enjoyed this new view of the world around him! He was so chill in that swing, just lounging and taking every thing in.

You have to understand my true love for playgrounds. I LOVE to play, and you can do just that on a playground! Naturally, I was eager to share this love with Nathan. Since the swings went so well, I thought we'd try a pint sized slide...

After a few tries with mom, Nathan went for a slide all by himself! He didn't know what to think, but still he seemed to like it!
After he slid, he wanted to sit up, then stand and then those feet started stepping, and they stepped all the way to the top of that pint sized slide. I was amazed that he could "walk" uphill! So of course we slid again!

Next, it was time for some lunch back on the blanket and a little chill time. Nathan held on to his blankie and looked at the sky and the trees while Colton looked at a book.

After some quiet chill time, Kristin and I had a great idea... since Colton was too small to swing alone, he could swing with a friend! Have you ever seen two babies in the same swing? Two sure are better than one!

Colton enjoying the view

Have I told you that I LOVE baby feet?
To finish out an already perfect day, Colton and his mommy went for a swing together.
