50 weeks

I've been posting pictures of our little man all week, so this post will be just words...for a change. Nathan has been fighting off colds off and on for a while now, but what amazes us is his sweet spirit through it all. He's recently begun to crawl up into our laps and wrap his arms around us and give us the biggest hugs. It's so precious and I treasure each on of those hugs. He does it all day long, and it is the greatest thing!!! He has also started to "brush" his hair with his brush, and can put a hat near his head in attempt to put it on. He can also pull his shirt off once you pull his arms out, and he is happy to pick up each foot as you get his socks and shoes on. He can take off his shoes and socks now too, but surprisingly doesn't mind wearing them. Nathan loves books and on Wednesday, he and grandpa were looking at a book and he pointed out all of these pictures accurately: teddy bear, grapes, cow, lamb (which he called a baa baa), flower, car, milk, baby, pumpkin, duck, banana, blueberries, tire, and ball. I was absolutely amazed. I had no idea that he knew all of those words!!!

Nathan is staying at our house with grandma ShaSha and grandpa this coming week and Chad and I are in SanDiego. We flew out here yesterday and will be here until Friday night. I'm sure Nathan's adventures with grandma and grandpa will be many!!!
