One year check up

Today was Nathan's one year well visit.  He weighed 23 pounds 3 ounces and was 29.5 inches tall.  He's 50th% for height, weight, and head circumference.  The doc said he looked great, was healthy, had a great iron level, and wasn't anemic.  She is not at all concerned with his ability to eat a variety of foods and was happy to note he was transitioned to cows milk from a sippy cup.  She also made a big deal about Nathan's language and how well he's doing.  He was talking in the office, signing, and pointing to items in books.  We were trying to count and as of now, he says 12 words, signs 15 words, and can identify almost 50 pictures in books or items in real life.  We are so proud of him!!!  He's not quite walking yet, but has taken 1 step numerous times.  I think he could walk, he just doesn't realize it!  No worries, plenty of time for walking!
