Lake fun with friends!

We celebrated the 4th in our favorite way… at the lake! We’ve sold our boat but we are so blessed to have friends with a boat! Remember this trip we took with Q, K and C July 12, 2008?

Well, almost exactly 2 years later, we spent another awesome day on the lake with our friends. This time baby K and little Taylor Grace joined the fun (well, Taylor sort of joined… you know, she was in my belly and all).

There was tons of high flying fun at the lake… and I mean HIGH… sometimes 15 or more feet high! You think I’m kidding?

Nathan’s response? “Do it again daddy! Throw me higher!!!”

And that’s exactly what daddy did… over and over…

and over and over and over!

Every time, he’d pop out of the water with a huge smile begging for more. So what did he get?

MORE!!!

Of course, this brought the little kid out in daddy, so he started putting Nathan on his shoulder and then jumping into the air off the back of the boat and LAUNCHING Nathan into the air. This was so fun (and a little nerve wracking) to watch. Each time, Nathan begged for more! I think everyone needs a fun daddy like Chad! :) Nathan sure is blessed!

We all tried to convince Colton to let Chad launch him into the air, but he was quite content swimming and watching. Some might say he’s a smart kiddo! :)

After the 149th throw, Chad’s arms got a little tired so we encouraged Nathan to jump off the tube. Quinton hoisted him up there each time and the jumping continued… that is until the log rolling began. :) I’m not sure where my camera was for that… especially when Chad and Nathan started log rolling down an inclined tube!

No day on the lake is complete without a tube ride! This is Nathan’s 3rd summer of tube rides. I can’t find a picture of the first summer, tubing at 8 months… but here’s one from last summer…

Tubing with daddy this summer is by far the most fun!

Thank you Kristin and Quinton and family for such a fun day on the lake! We had a great time and can’t wait to do it again!!!!!!!
