Tonight, we could use your prayers... for comfort and peace for our little man, and that a gentle tiredness would take over his active little body and help him forget that his beloved paci is not with him! Tonight is the first night we're trying this, and we pray that it goes well. Nathan has been sleeping with a paci since almost day one, and it's time for that trend to end... we think. We'll see how it goes!
On a lighter note, we had a wonderful Christmas and hope all of you did as well! Pics to come!

We took our daughter's paci away on her 1st birthday and she never looked back. Even if he's a little out of whack you will be so happy that you did it when he was younger!
just DON'T give in!! we had to get Cailey and Braden to stop sucking their thumbs (harder than just taking a paci:) and they were VERY sad about it for a few days but it was worth the tears b/c the longer he has it the worse it'll be. he'll forget about it in a couple weeks:) Oh..and let him see you get rid of them. Do the whole, "bye, bye paci..no more paci, bye bye, etc" hope that helps..can't wait to see how it goes
