Here's the start of the Wilson's Ramblings...

Here's the start of the Wilson Ramblings... where do I begin? How about with the newest addition to our family! Nathan was born 11.23.07 weighing 6 pounds and 2 ounces. He was just hours old in this picture. He looks really big, but he was so tiny! Look at the size of the thermometer next to his arm. Nathan was so laid back when he was born. He didn't cry, in fact we had to make him cry just to exercise his lungs. Since he was born 3 weeks early, the docs wanted to make sure they were working like they should! Nathan slept so well and ate every 3 hours from day 1. Such a sweet boy. Birthday photos...

Proud parents-to-be... preping for surgery...

Wow, we're really parents? Amazing... crazy amazing!

Here's Nathan's godparents (Kaz and Kendra) checking him out shortly after he was born.

Here are some pictures of Nathan from the first few days...

One happy family - minus Bailey, the pup, who was at home eagerly awaiting our arrival

So tiny in daddy's big hands

A kiss and a snuggle from mom

Nathan slept so well as a newborn, and really even still!

He was so small that none of his hats fit! He wore preemie clothes for almost a month!

such a sweet snuggly boy!

When it was time to go home, we were so ready to go... we thought. It took Chad 20 minutes to get Nathan in his going home outfit and then he puked on it. So we took it off of him, cleaned it up, let it dry, and tried again. Meanwhile, I was getting very sick feeling from all of the activity (I'd had a c-section and was still very groggy and sore). Needeless to say, there was no great fanfare with our exit, but here are some pictures from those hours leading up to our exit...

This was right before Chad asked the nurse, "Why are you going to let us take him home, you don't even know us!" It was funny! Look at the size of that newborn sized hat on his tiny little head (Nathan's that is, not Chad's).

New mommy - ready to go home!
