Mama Ginny's 80th party

On Saturday before Mother's day, we spent the day with Chad's family celebrating Mama Ginny's 80th birthday. Here's Nathan's other Papa (Papa Wilson) holding the cake... one of 6 cakes Mama Ginny was presented with!
Blow out your candles beautiful lady!
Isn't this woman gorgeous? She is such a fighter too and has such a sense of humor!
NayNay and Daddy
Cousin Karmyn
Everyone there for the party (minus Chad's Uncle Mike who was taking a picture with his camera).
After some yummy cake, it was into the pool for this little man and his daddy. Nathan was so happy to be in the water, and was like a little fish. In the last two weeks, he's turned into a fearless fish again in the water and is doing so well with swimming under the water, and jumping in and going under before floating up to me. He was doing just as well in the pool with daddy too.

Chad is always a favorite with these two! Especially because he was the only adult willing to brave the cold water!

We put Nathan in this little float and much to our surprise, not only did he enjoy the float, but he maneuvered it around the pool like he'd always known how to do that. He kicked his legs and leaned forward to go places and even steered with his legs and body weight. It was amazing to watch. He was so independent and needed no help. I was in shock.

Nathan's favorite part of the day... definitely the kitties! He chased them everywhere!
We were so happy to celebrate 80 years of life with Mama Ginny and family! Thanks for such a great day Nana and Papa Wilson!
