We can't believe that Nathan is 18 weeks old!
He is at such a fun stage right now. He's learning to reach for objects and is interacting with his toys. He takes utter delight in socializing and flirting with those around him. He's rolling from his tummy to his back more consistently, learning to sit up without as much help, and is making the funniest sounds. He has surprised us when it comes to eating... he's not a huge fan of cereal, but he LOVES his veggies. The boy can throw down carrots, green beans, and green peas. So far those are what we've tried and he loves them!
Reaching and grasping (Nathan's buddy Noah loaned him this toy and he loves it!)
Tummy time isn't such a chore now either - I'm not saying he likes it, but he's much more tolerant of it these days! :) He practices his rolling skills during tummy time and seems to enjoy the newfound freedom. For those of you who have asked if Nathan has a neck, you can see it in these pictures... sort of!
Nathan is a big fan of his daddy - in fact he's daddy's boy. He lights up when Chad comes home from work and really enjoys hanging out with him. He laughs so hard when Chad makes funny faces or silly voices! On Saturday, Nathan experienced a little bit of upside down time and LOVED it...
Nathan adores Bailey now! He smiles when she approaches and actually reached out for her this past weekend. Bailey is THE BEST dog! She is so patient with Nathan. Of course she's extremely excited at the thought of playing with him, but she contains herself rather nicely. She is quite the protector and the often acts as though he's her puppy. When he makes noises, she is desperate to lick him. She loves to lick his hands and feet and he grins when she does. We don't encourage her licking his face, but she's so fast, and sometimes, she swipes a kiss or two.
Floor time with Bailey
Notice how calm Bailey is even with the approaching hand...
And still she doesn't move when he grabs her face!

Bailey swipes a kiss...
And Nathan rolled over
