A new addition to our family

We have a new addition to our home and she's a beauty!  We haven't named her yet, but her "factory" name is Moomba Outback V.  Nathan refers to her as "boat boat boat boat boat"  usually followed by "lake lake lake lake in".

Inside she looks like this, except the colors are black, white, and grey.

Nathan had a great time playing in the boat in the showroom before we bought her.

We bought her Wednesday, finalized it Friday and went for our first little ride and "here's how to use your boat" ride with the sales guy (thankfully we've owned a boat before so this was a quick lesson).  Today, we took her out ourselves up to a BEAUTIFUL lake north of us.  The water is a blueish green and is so clear.  We had a great time in the boat this afternoon and Nathan must have said "boat" and "lake" a million times.

Bailey was also thrilled to have the wind in her face and she was a perfect pup!

When we pulled up on shore to stop for dinner, Bailey got out and swam for a good 30 minutes while we had our dinner.  She LOVES the water.  Nathan learned the words "swim" and "stick" as she was retrieving.  They sound more like "wim" and "tick" but he knows what they are for sure!

He loves to drive and is quick to ask for this.

Dad, I'm ready for my picnic but do I have to wear this lifejacket while I eat?

Today, Nathan said more new words than on any other day.  I think this boat is a great place for tot school!  He said fast (fas), lake (lae), moon, bridge (brid), under (unda), throttle (trotel), swim (wim), and stick (tick).  Who says school has to happen in a house?
