What's on your tot's plate

I did a poor job of taking photos of Nathan's plates this week.  Perhaps that is because we ate out so much this week...hmmm.  Here are the few I did take the time to capture.

blueberries, strawberries, blackberries; ground beef, gerber graduate sticks; carrots, english muffin slice, lima beans, peas, green beans, english muffin slice, black eyed peas and brown rice.  Nathan is not a big fan of unpureed veges but we sneak them in when we can.  he actually ate the peas because he called them balls. whatever works kiddo! :)
blueberries, strawberries, mango, blackberries, carrots, boars head natural chicken breast, kashi crackers
Palermos pizza (he actually had 2.5 slices, but I wasn't quick enough to capture), raisins, blueberries.  He finished this meal off with Stonyfield farms french vanilla whole milk yogurt, babyfood prunes (they were there, why not?), and Lucky Duckies.  Kiddo is a hungry little thing!

This week I also found another brand of nitrate free lunch meat.  We love to get that for Nathan and get it sliced really thick (maybe 0.25 inches thick) and then cut into cubes.  I hate the nitrates in regular meat and refuse to feed them to my kiddo.  While we knew that Lowes Food carries Boars Head all natural turkey but it's not the closest grocery store to us.  So, while on a date night, we stopped into Harris Teeter to get some groceries and found another brand.  Dietz and Watson.  Yeah for another company deciding not to fill their meat with nitrates and nitrites! :)

So follow Carissa's lead and take pictures of your little ones plates and share them with the rest of us!  It's great to get ideas from one another!  What's on your tot's plate?

Thanks for sharing these great plates of what you are feeding your little one! Gives me great ideas...i always feel like my creativity is zapped when i think about "what to feed them" vs. "what will they eat"
