We ate out quite a bit this week and also ate many of our usual standby's, but we did try some new things that I wanted to share with you guys...
Vita Tops... the top of a muffin, loaded with fiber, protein, flavor and goodstuff. Check out their website here. Also our favorite standby blueberries and bananas.
These homemade babyfood trays are good for something again! Nathan loved having the little compartments and he managed to get 75% through the meal before dumping out the tray on his tray! Blackberries, peanut butter and jelly, pineapple, chicken, celery, hummus, and cherry tomatoes. Nathan will eat almost any vegetable if I let him dip it in something. This week, he's been crazy for hummus so he's eaten lots of celery and tomatoes with it! :)
"dit dit" (aka "dip dip")
This was a fabulous lunch he and Colton shared at Kristin's house last week (read about her generous offer to keep Nathan for a day while I recovered from a nasty migraine here). Sweet potato, black berries, southwest pasta dish, kiwi, cheese, and oranges.
Of course, lunch is more fun shared with a friend!
Here are the two pictures from our beach trip of Nathan trying some new foods. The one above is him showing us his hunk of crab meat. He really liked eating it! Below is Nathan's first ice cream cone. He loved the soft serve icecream! Although, when we offered him one this weekend, he said "no no cold" and wouldn't eat it. Who knows! ;)
